LS9 Inc. hired Jonathan Foster as its chief financial officer.

Foster is a former software executive but also worked on the boards of the California Clean Energy Fund, was a Commissioner of the Palo Alto Utilities Advisory Commission and served on the National Advisory Council for Environmental Entrepreneurs.

Fuel and chemical development plant to open in Okeechobee soon

OKEECHOBEE--A new plant will soon be opening in Okeechobee. Officials of LS9, a technology leader in the development of renewable and sustainable products, announced the grand opening of their new plant on June 12. Production at the plant is expected to begin in the early third quarter of this year.
